#TBT Post: DIY Dress + Print Mixing

Hello Loves! I hope you are having a great week! It's almost the weekend, Turnup! LOL! Anyway. Today I am actually sharing a #TBT post. I made this dress last year but never took pictures to post on the blog. Alice from Happiness at Mid Life left a comment on my blog informing me that she hosts a #TBT linkup and suggested I participate so, here is my post!

DIY dress: Fabric (HERE) | Belt: (old) | Jewelry: Bauble Bar (old) | Top: New York and Co. (old)
I like this little dress because it is fun and flirty and a little sassy but most of all it has pockets! Yup I put pockets in my little dress because you know it's what we skirtaholics dream of! LOL! The dress is made from a stretch sateen fabric that I got from Michael Levine Fabrics. It's a medium/heavy weight so it can be worn year round. In the summer you don't need the shirt underneath but for fall and winter it works. But winter I would add tights or hose and probably style it with some knee boots.
Again I am mixing prints; random animal print (the dress) and cheetah (the pony hair belt). It's subtle but enough to make a statement, right?! ;-)

I had a terrible headache when I took these pictures but I think they turned out well!

Thank you for reading!

Thank you Alice! I certainly appreciate your nice words. Sewing takes a lot of time and patience but I think most people can do it! Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to linking up with you more in the future!
