Day 5: Sweaters/Cardigans #RSShowMeYourStyle Challenge

Hello Loves!
I hope you are well! It's Friday and I'm ready to sing...LOL! Anyway today's #RSShowMeYourStyle Challenge theme is Sweater or Cardigans. I found this lovely sweater from JcPenney it is their JCP brand. The sweater is lightweight which I like because it allows me to layer under and over but I doubt I will ever want to cover this beautiful rose graphic up, well in the winter I'll definitely want a jacket or coat. LOL! But you get where I'm coming from. They have a number of cute graphic sweaters right now. While I was there I grabbed me a few. I also picked up a graphic sweatshirt that you can see here. The skirt that I paired with this wonderful sweater is a DIY sweatskirt pencil skirt; originally shared here. I got the fabric from but they are sold out now. It is a french terry knit, which I love because I cannot do fleece. Something about that pile on my skin just cuts my breath off so I do not mess with that stuff. So instead I use sweater knits and french terry knits. The french terry knit is the closest to a traditional sweatshirt fabric.
The hubby is closing out the week very nicely as he did join me in the sweater challenge. Check out our looks below.
Sweater: JCP (HERE)| Collar Shirt: JCP (HERE)| DIY Skirt: Fabric (Sold Out)| Shoes: Aldo (old)| Watch: Michael Kors| Sunnies: Franco Sarto from  Burlington Coat Factory

Now for his look...
The hubby likes to keep it simple and comfortable. He's more of a dress down kind of guy. And of course he has to wear of pair of J's with everything LOL! He is a true Jordan's Sneaker Head LOL!
The weather was very stormy when it was time to take his sweater pictures so we stayed in to take them in the apartment.

That's all for today. We will see you tomorrow for Denim on Denim Saturday!

Who knew you could dress up a sweatskirt, right? LOL! I'm planning to do more things with french terry cloth in way of sweatsuits but it definitely won't be your traditional sweatsuit. Stay tuned for that!

I hope you enjoyed viewing our styles for the #RSShowMeYourStyle 7 day challenge and I hope you join in for the next one!

Thank you for reading!
