Have You Heard of OWOP?

Hello Loves!

I just came across this #OWOP on Instagram today. Have you ever heard of it?
Well if you haven't it stands for One Week One patter. Basically, you sign up to participate and you choose one pattern that you wish to sew and wear for one week. So it would be the same pattern but in different fabrics and paired with different items for 7 days! Unfortunately, they only do this once per year and I missed it :-( This year it was hosted by Handmade Jane who is based in the UK but I believe the challenge is open internationally.
I love this idea! And since I was unable to participate this year I am thinking to do this on my own blog. What do you think? Is this something you would be interested in doing with me? I was thinking themes could be not just your favorite garment pattern but colors; wear the same color for seven days or shoes. I would hate that though and I would probably not complete the challenge. I don't think I have a shoe that I could wear everyday with everything. I would guess it would need to be a flat of some sort but I only own two pair that are not sandals so...yeah probably not one we will do LOL! Also choosing a particular garment like a pencil skirt, circle skirt, full skirt, or sweater dress, shift dress, etc. I think that would work for this type of challenge, right?

The thing is that you don't want to do it too often. So, I completely understand why they do it once per year but I think a few times per year could be funners too! Don't you agree?

Have you participated in something like this? What do you think of my idea? Would you join in?

Let me know your thoughts!

Hi Bonita! I'm glad you like the idea! Would you be interested in joining in? I am thinking to do one for an October presentation.
