#OOTD: What's Better Than A 2fer?

Rhianna's Studio #OOTD Black and White Striped Midi Skirt

Hello Loves!
Happy Thursday! I love when I can get two looks from one fabric. That was definitely the case for today's look.

I made today's look from leftover fabric from my three seam midi dress; which I like to call sophisticated stripes!  I ordered the fabric from GirlCharlee.com last year and finally got around to cutting into it this year!

This look is a great transitional ensemble for summer to fall. The cropped denim jacket is not only stylish and complementary to the look but it also works for cool mornings and cool evenings. During the hotter hours of the afternoon, the jacket can be removed to reveal the tank underneath and you still look stylish and chic! Every black and white ensemble needs a little pop of color, right?!

After making my sophisticated stripes midi dress with three seams. I had a bit of fabric leftover. So of course I would make my "go to" skirt, the single seam pencil skirt with 1" elastic waist and 1" folded hem.

To keep it simple and let the stripes speak for themselves, I paired the skirt with a basic off white tank top and my favorite color, pink belt for a pop of color.

Although the look it simple it really looks pulled together with the accessories and color combinations.

I ordered this fabric from GirlCharlee.com last year. It is currently sold out. I love their cotton Lycra fabric. They are little slow to process and deliver your order unless you order around $100 worth of fabric. So you will want to give some time if you order or pay for expedited shipping. This fabric was pretty nice to work with; not hard to cut or sew! I love the softness of it and it is not too heavy in weight but not too light. So its about a medium weight. I definitely recommend ordering from them keeping my comments about shipping in mind.
