What's There To Do In Charlotte for Your Anniversary?

Rhianna's Studio Anniversary Dinner Pictures

Hello Loves!
Happy Monday! So for our anniversary we traveled to the city where we met!

---------------------------------------------
We had so much fun! We spent the weekend in downtown (Uptown) Charlotte, NC. The hotel we stayed in was interesting it was half Sheraton and half City Center Hotel. Some parts of it was under construction but the rooms were cool.  It was very minimalist feeling, just the necessities, no bells and whistles and the bathroom was small. So we got there Thursday night (our actual anniversary date) after having dinner in the city in which we live due to a storm that rolled in as we were getting ready to head to Charlotte.  We took this picture at the table! LOL!

There is a reason why my nails are painted pink and black, those were the colors of my wedding dress. So to remember our special day, I painted my nails our favorite colors, Mine - Pink, His - Black. More details on my wedding attire here.

When we arrived to Charlotte late that night I was too tired to go out or anything like that so we just chilled in the room. But Friday was filled with fun activity! What's there to do in Charlotte on  a Friday Afternoon, Evening or Night, you ask? Well let me share with you. After breakfast we made our way to the Epicenter walked around and hung out a bit before catching a movie at Studio Movie Grill.

At Studio Movie Grill, you can order real food and drinks (with or without alcohol) while you enjoy the movie. You press a button anytime during the movie for assistance and a member of the staff will bring you whatever you like from the menu! It was AWESOME! We went to see Lucy.

After that we walked the city to take in the sites and ended up relaxing a while in the park before making our way to the Bank of America Stadium for Fan Fest. This was a free event for Carolina Panthers fans to come watch the team practice, see the cheerleaders, and enjoy live entertainment, and fireworks. I am in no way a sports fanatic (as I mentioned on my Facebook fan page) so me going to this event was all for the love of my husband. The Panthers is his favorite NFL team. I was just glad I was smart enough to bring my camera. It not only kept me entertained but I also got some pretty good shots of Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly!

And this is Running Cam.
I took a ton of pictures and we also got some video of the players throwing and catching the ball! After the event we went to my favorite restaurant - Carolina Ale House where the food is always excellent! We sat outside on the patio so we could still experience the city. Saturday we checked out of the hotel and made our way to the All American Pub in the South End of Charlotte. It was great food. I had a veggie wrap and fries even their $4 Sangria was great. We will definitely visit again.  We were led there by the wonderful free appetizer coupon I was given by one of their workers (who complemented my bag) while leaving the football stadium on Friday night. That was a great marketing strategy I might add.

Okay, so I know you are wondering what did we do for gifts? Unless you checked my Facebook page then  you already know. But for those of you who didn't...my husband and I could not decide what to get each other as gifts in the theme of leather (original post here). So here's what we got.
Me - 4 pieces of Orange Leather Hide
Him - Carolina Panthers LED light up mouse pad , Carolina Panthers wireless mouse, and leather key chain with engraved initials.

When I receive my leather, I will share with you all in a post! I think I will blog about my experience with working with the leather as well.
I hope you had a great weekend and your week is off to a great start!
As always, thank you for reading!

And please...
