#OOTD: How To Style A DIY Graphic Tee?

Rhianna's Studio DIY leopard skull and crossbones graphic tee and red midi pencil skirt

Hello Loves!
It's the first of the moonnnnth (in my Bone Thugs and Harmony Voice)! This look is my summer uniform. A graphic tee and pencil skirt have been my go to outfit really since spring. And appears to be staying for the summer :-)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
This look is fun, casual, and age appropriate. Not to mention how well it complements my curves! (Side Note: You guys may notice that I use two different spellings of this word; complement & compliment. Here is why...Complement is used when I want to say works with and compliment is when I want to say praises or uplifts.  Rhianna's Studio is all about celebrating and uplifting the natural curves of women at any size)

This outfit was created as part of a design challenge (Piles to Products) I did in May.
I mostly take the quick and easy route to creating my pencil skirts (one seam & no waistband), but this time I decided to use the "traditional" method and include two side seams and a waistband. To make the graphic on the tee I printed the image from my computer and cut it out of fabric. I used double sided adhesive that I got from Hobby Lobby (similar here) to attach the fabric to the tee. The "clutch" is actually used inside of my large purse to hold my makeup (that I don't wear LOL!) It's a multi-functioning bag.  Both the graphic and bag are made from the same fabric. The actual tee is "off the shoulder" and has a dolman sleeve. Very easy to sew; just two pieces and I roll hemmed the sleeves. I finished the neckline with a traditional hem.
TEE: I ordered the fabric for the tee shirt from girlcharlee.com It is a Cotton Lycra. It is medium weight and it's great quality fabric. The fabric for the Leopard Skull and Crossbones is a quilters fabric from Hobby Lobby. The sequin bow is also from Hobby Lobby.
CLUTCH: The zipped clutch is made from the same fabric as the graphic on the tee.
SKIRT: I ordered Red Double Knit from Michael Levine. Their site is www.lowpricefabrics.com. You can purchase some here
