 Hello Loves!
Happy Hump Day! I hope you are having a great week thus far. I have finally got around to taking and editing the pictures of the garments I turned out as part of the "Piles to Products" challenge I did a couple weeks back. Today's post is showing the Black and White Striped dress, which is one of my favorite pieces I made.

I originally discussed the use of a single seam in the body of a dress during the initial post showcasing this garment, which you can see here. I self draft all of my garment patterns while I can't link to a sewing pattern for you to use I am considering doing YouTube videos to demonstrate and teach others to draft patterns of garments that I wear. Is that something you would be interested in learning? I will only do it if I know people are interested. Filming and editing can take a lot of time so I want to be sure my efforts would be used. So let me know if this is something you would like to see. A great advantage to making this dress is that it is quick to sew. I like to finish all of my seams but if it is a knit you do not have to as it will not unravel during washing and wearing like a woven fabric would.
I ordered this fabric from girlcharlee.com last year. The original post is here. The fabric is soft and comfortable. It was really nice to sew, layout and cut. I have no complaints with this.
