#tbt How Many Ways Can You Style Camouflage?

 Good Afternoon Everyone!
How many ways can you style camouflage? Back in 2006 I found nine ways. In honor of #tbt I am sharing my very first collection as a graduate student.

A classmate and I put on a fashion show at the Alumni  Building at North Carolina State University. It was amazing the show featured work from just the two of us. We each created a collection using nonwoven fabrics created by Freudenberg Nonwovens LP
If you are not familiar with a nonwoven it is a similar process that is used to make wipes, diapers, and dryer sheets.  This particular fabric was really stiff and was very similar to paper. For my sewing friends, can you imagine making garments from paper?! Not an easy task but I enjoy a challenge!
To add to each look, dog tags were integrated into jewelry items, their hairstyles, and their garments.  The name of the collection was Shock and Awe!

And another gown ready for the Military Ball!

Corset anyone? Super cute on this tiny frame. Shorts and matching corset. She looks like a drill sergeant, right?

Camouflage at work? Sure why not? Be patriotic in the office in a camo business suit. Can you pull it off?

My little dancer. She opened the show by Krump Dancing then transitioned flawlessly into a model walk and walked the whole runway! She is so talented!
