DIY - Anticipating Spring!

 Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday!!
I  hope everyone has had a good week and is as excited for Friday and the weekend as I am! Not that I don't have a paper to write tomorrow and probably edit over the weekend, but my husband doesn't have to work over the weekends and I like having him home with me during the day :-) Anyway back to the point of the blog post today! Anticipating spring. Check out what I am anticipating to be trending this spring ;-)
The cropped top came on the fashion scene at the end of the summer 2013. It's made an appearance throughout the fall and is expected to reappear in the spring - according to my prediction! These days the cropped top is as universal as the pencil skirt as most body types can wear one if paired with a high waist bottom and there is a small amount (peek a boo) of skin showing. There are also some cute high low cropped tops that can hide back fat LOL! and show the perfect amount of skin on the stomach.
I previewed this look in a previous blog post HERE I discussed the fabric and where I  got it from. I also promised I would take pictures of me in the outfit so you can see what it looks like on.

Another curve complimenting skirt. This pencil skirt although made in a knit fabric lends itself to the dressier side. It can also be sexy and romantic depending on the setting. If I can toot my own horn - I love the way the skirt makes my hips look - dangerous curves! Toot! Toot!

The cropped top is loose fit like a tshirt. It is really comfortable to wear and I don't feel self conscious about not having a six pack.
Showing off my curves!!

Thanks for reading!
