In the Navy Now - DIY!

Hello Everyone!
Happy Thursday!! This skirt comes to you fresh off the sewing machine :-) LOL! Another DIY pencil skirt to dress up or down and I will show you how. I do enjoy mixing my handmade items with my store bought items (although I don't have many). Here are two looks I mixed with my one skirt :-)
----------------------------------------------

Casual Look - Long sleeve striped t-shirt (Joe Fresh) paired with the DIY knitted pencil skirt with elastic waistband. Shoes: Aldo wedge sneakers with gold accent.

Dressy-casual Look - Jazz up the necklace (Bauble Bar) and add Aldo sandals with gold accent and you have turned this once very casual look into a sassy daytime look that you can wear on a date!
-------------------------------------------------

Dressy Look - D.I.Y. skirt paired with Aldo platform pumps and Liz Claiborne necktie long sleeve shirt and now you are work ready!

Thank you for reading!

From following your blog, your wardrobe is extensive. Wearing clothing and accessories that started as your idea is amazing. What stores have been lucky enough to make your list to shop and never disappoint?

That is a hard question as I rarely purchase from stores. When I am looking for shoes it is definitely Aldo first, Steve Madden (website) second, and DSW/Off Broadway third. I do a lot of online shopping for shoes as well. As for clothes JCP is a place I frequent but I mostly purchase tops as it can be challenging at any store to accommodate my curves. Express is another place I purchase a lot of tops. Nordstrom and RalphLauren.com have become favorites recently - jewelry, shoes, tops, jackets are what I look for there. I hope I've answered your question. Thanks for commenting!
